Dear parents, Eddie the Yeti books were created to demonstrate the core values of what it means to be a hockey player, Sportsmanship, hard work and family. We hope that these books will serve as inspiration and guidance for young players as they learn and grow both on and off the ice.

CHRISTOPHER SCOTT
CREATOR AND AUTHOR
Hello friends, my name is Chris, and I’m the creator of Eddie the Yeti. I’m happily married and the proud father of two boys, Levi and Townes. I’m an artist by nature, an avid hockey player, and someone who has always believed in the power of creativity, effort, and imagination.
Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege of working for myself as a graphic designer and web designer, with the occasional sign-painting project mixed in along the way. Outside of work, I enjoy hockey, jiu jitsu, rock climbing, hiking, traveling, and spending as much quality time with my family as possible. Creativity and movement have always been central to who I am, both personally and professionally.
The vision behind Eddie the Yeti is simple but deeply meaningful to me. I hope these stories inspire young players to dream big, persevere through challenges, and recognize their own potential. I truly believe we are all capable of far more than we often realize, and that our limits are shaped largely by how we see ourselves.
When I think about everything that went into the first book — the long nights, revisions, mistakes, and those rewarding “aha” moments — I’m reminded that this is just the beginning. Eddie the Yeti represents one small step toward a much bigger goal: encouraging kids to grow not just as hockey players, but as confident, resilient individuals.
Not everyone will make it to the NHL, and that’s perfectly okay. What matters more are the lessons we carry with us beyond the rink — teamwork, discipline, humility, and belief in ourselves. My hope is that Eddie and his pals help reinforce those lessons, both on and off the ice, and serve as a positive example of what young players can achieve when they commit to growth.
Thank you so much for taking the time to be here and read this. I’m excited to see where this journey leads and would truly love to hear from you — whether it’s feedback, questions, or your own aspirations. Feel free to reach out anytime at chris@eddietheyeti.com. I look forward to connecting with you.

TEMIREE
ILLUSTRATOR
Despite being recognized for his drawing talents at an early age by his second grade teacher, Temiree didn’t consider taking art seriously until high school. It was only then did he realize the potential of having a career in the visual arts. His early work involved doing realistic portraits of animals and vehicles in his sketchbook, but later he moved onto cartooning, with a specific focus on anthropomorphism. After graduating from a local community college, he got hired by a former instructor to work at a nearby game studio as a Junior Artist, doing everything from 2D art to 3D modeling to animation. The various experiences led to Temiree becoming a generalist, but his inspirations and aspirations led him back to focusing on character art. After the game’s release, the team disbanded, whereby he switched gears to making a name for himself in the freelancing world as a character artist. In the five years since, he’s completed nearly a thousand illustrations for hundreds of clients, which is what led Christopher Scott to discover his work, scout his abilities and bring him onto the Eddie the Yeti project.
